Therapists who work at Creative Family Counseling, LLC are committed to providing culturally competent and affirming care. This includes ongoing conversations on issues of power, privilege, and oppression; as well as dedicated focus and education on these issues; with the goal of supporting anti-racism, anti-discrimination, & anti-hate to foster growth, love, change, and social justice for all.
Through expressive therapies, child clients learn to solve problems, recover from traumatic events, regulate emotions, develop coping skills, resolve conflict, and overcome challenges and transitions at Creative Family Counseling.
The journey between childhood and adulthood is both a joyful process and a painful one. Having a trusted therapist to walk along with you on that journey can help adolescent clients discover who they are and find their voice.
Not feeling equipped for this season with your child? Creative Family Counseling offers Parent Support in many formats, such as through individualized parent support meetings or through Positive Discipline Parent Education Workshops.
Your goals for therapy will be established at the first meeting with your therapist at Creative Family Counseling, and every session after that will be tailored to meet those individual goals as soon as it is possible.
No family is without imperfections. All families experience conflict from time to time. Some issues are worked through easily, but others take an objective third party to help you figure out what’s going on & find a solution.
It’s easy for couples to get into ruts, and sometimes those ruts become repeated patterns within the relationship. No matter if a couple is dating, engaged, married, divorcing, or remarrying, there are opportunities to improve.
