I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and a recent graduate of Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. I use my genuine self in collaborative, client-centered therapy, utilizing authentic connection to help clients focus on their goals, define what they need, and establish treatment plans to meet their goals on a short timeline. With experience in using play therapy, sand play, and expressive arts to facilitate insightful change, my approach is both creative and fun. As a second career MFT Associate, I bring life-experience into the therapeutic process. I enjoy working with multicultural clients of all ages & faith backgrounds.
Whether developing the ability to cope with anxiety and/or depression, transitioning through life changes like divorce, or creating better parenting methods, my focus is in assisting you in meeting the goals you bring to therapy. My practice is trauma-informed and research-based, which is beneficial to many clients.
Are you looking for a compassionate listening ear? Are you ready to make some changes in your life? Do you need extra support as an individual, parent, child, or family?
These are just a few of the ways collaborative, client-centered and creative therapies can help you. In a non-judgmental, open-minded & open-hearted place, we can work through life’s challenges.
Outside of therapy, my hobbies include spending time with my dog, Chance, hiking, and relaxing at home. I like to explore my own creative side through arts, literature, and writing. My first career was training horses and I continue to train when not in the therapy room. I love live music and exploring our vast world through travel.
