Madison Malloy, LPCA
Everyone deserves connection. When we experience strain and disconnection in our relationships, we can feel isolated, sad, angry, anxious, and helpless. I enjoy having fun with clients as we walk hand-in-hand through their healing and resolve relational strains and stress.
I try to bring a warm and welcoming atmosphere into sessions to allow people to feel both safe and comfortable. I emphasize the importance of teamwork and collaboration in working towards creating a better self.
As a clinician, I thrive off honesty and clarity, and will be transparent with clients about their treatment. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and am working towards further certifications. I have worked in residential, inpatient and private practice settings, and work with children (6+), adolescents, adults, and families. In addition to mood disturbances such as depression and anxiety, I work with trauma and abuse survivors, athletes, and the LGBTQ+ community. I have experience with treating personality disorders and ADHD, as well.
Because I am motivated to make counseling more accessible for teen clients, I provide counseling hours at Oldham County High School and North Oldham County High School. My practice is integrative and tailors to each person’s unique and individual needs. There is no shame in needing help. Together, we can continue to break the stigma around mental health and can grow. If you think we would be a good fit, feel free to reach out!
