Expressive Play Therapy

Join Creative Family Counseling for an exciting continuing education event of Expressive Play Therapy! This in-person gathering will be held at and co-sponsored by the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Schlegel Hall. Discover the power of expressive therapies as a therapeutic tool to promote emotional healing and growth, which is applied in a systemic framework for clients of all ages. For masters level therapists who are interested in understanding the benefits of play and art in counseling, this event is for you!
Erica Adams, LPCC-S, ATR-BC will cover the Expressive Therapies Continuum, kinesthetic levels, practical and ethical applications, as well as use of various other media in the therapy room.
Engage in this interactive and experiential workshop, gain practical insights, and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about the transformative power of expressive play therapy. Individual sand trays will be provided as a souvenir to attendees; participants are welcome to bring their favorite miniatures to join in the fun of the workshop.
