Jill Felkins, Therapist Intern (She/They)

Jill is a therapist intern, currently studying Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. She believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a cornerstone of effective therapy. Jill approaches each client with an open heart and mind, striving to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes. She is particularly passionate about social justice and is dedicated to continuing education and training to best support individuals of all cultural backgrounds. With a profound interest in the impact of systems and deconstructing generational trauma, Jill is committed to providing empathetic and personalized treatment to clients navigating life’s challenges.

Outside of their professional pursuits, Jill enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, and singing, which she finds essential for maintaining balance. Jill believes in the importance of self-care and brings this perspective into work with clients, encouraging them to find and nurture what brings them joy and peace.

Jill is excited to continue their journey as a therapist intern at Creative Family Counseling, bringing passion, empathy, and commitment to the mental health field. She looks forward to supporting clients on their path to healing and growth.
