Katy Anderson provides School Facilitated Services at Kentucky Country Day School. KCD is located in Louisville, and Katy provides School Facilitated Services at KCD on Tuesday mornings.

Katy enjoys going to see all of the Bearcats at KDC in the therapy room and throughout the halls, and loves to see students live into the school motto of “Citizen, Scholar, and Steward.” Katy works with KCD’s Lower School Counselor, Julie Smith, KCD teachers, and other support and administrative staff to help students thrive at home and in the classroom.

Katy has experience provided SFS to work on:

• emotion regulation
• classroom behavior
• ADHD
• anxiety

Katy believes that it is important to help children and their families find solutions that work for them, building up skills and empowering students to be successful in their own way at school, home, and in their communities. SFS provides a unique opportunity for children and families because of the collaboration that can be provided through consulting with teachers, counselors, and other staff at KCD.
