Katy Anderson provides School Facilitated Services at Buckner Elementary School. Buckner is located in La Grange, and Katy provides School Facilitated Services at Buckner Elementary on Thursday mornings.

Katy enjoys going to see all of the Buckner Bears in the therapy room and throughout the halls, and she loves seeing students live out the Buckner Bear Essentials. Katy works with Buckner’s Mental Health Consultant, Seth Ganshirt, Buckner Bear Teachers, and other support and administrative staff to help students thrive at home and in the classroom.

Katy has experience providing SFS to work on:

• emotion regulation
• classroom behavior
• ADHD
• anxiety

Katy believes that it is important to help children and their families find solutions that work for them, building up skills and empowering students to be successful in their way at school, home, and in their communities.

SFS provides a unique opportunity for children and families because of the collaboration that can be provided through consulting with teachers, counselors, and other staff at Buckner.
